MEET SAM PEARCE
Founder. Designer. Publishing Strategist. Dream Amplifier.
You know that feeling—that ache in your chest when you realise you’ve got something important to say but no idea how to say it loud enough?
That’s why I do what I do.
I’m Sam Pearce, founder of SWATT Books and unapologetic champion of authors with something real to share. I help business owners, coaches, and thought leaders like you publish books that don’t just sit on shelves—they change lives, open doors, and grow empires.
With over 20 years of experience in design and publishing, I’ve helped bring more than 250 books into the world—across genres, industries, and continents. I don’t just teach publishing. I live it.
But this isn’t just about books. It’s about what happens when you finally claim your voice and let the world hear it.
From Design to Destiny
I trained as a graphic designer at Toronto’s George Brown College and spent years working in corporate branding. But it wasn’t until I designed my first book layout in 2012 that I found my true obsession: combining beautiful design with powerful messages to create something that lasts.
That passion led me to create SWATT Books—a publishing consultancy for people who want to do it right. Not rushed. Not gimmicky. But professionally, ethically, and with full creative control.
Why I’m Here
I know the publishing world can feel overwhelming, gatekept, or just plain out of reach. That’s why SWATT Books exists: to demystify the process, empower you every step of the way, and help you bring your message into the world with confidence, clarity, and impact.
When you work with me, you’re not just getting a consultant—you’re getting a partner, a strategist, and a fellow rebel who believes your story deserves the spotlight.
Media & Recognition
Along the way, I’ve had the honour of being featured in The Daily Mail, Bloomsbury’s Writers’ & Artists’ Guide to Self-Publishing, Express FM, and more. SWATT Books has earned two Self-Publishing Service of the Year awards from the South England Prestige Awards and holds accreditation from the Alliance of Independent Authors and the Independent Publishers Guild.

Beyond the Books
When I’m not elbows-deep in manuscripts, you’ll find me tearing up country roads with the roof down and my music up, obsessing over album cover typography, or planning my next travel escape. I live just outside Salisbury with my incredible husband, Nathan, and my little cat queen, Carmen.
