Although Ingram has been in the print-on-demand book distribution space longer than Amazon, it is not as widely known as KDP. So, let’s take a look at the benefits and potential downsides of incorporating IngramSpark into your publishing strategy.

With IngramSpark’s print-on-demand (POD) service, there’s no need to manage inventory or deal with large upfront printing costs. Books are printed as needed, minimising financial risk for the author. - Hardcover Options
IngramSpark provides both paperback and hardcover options, which is an advantage over some other self-publishing platforms that may only offer paperback or eBook options. - Discounts and Returnability
IngramSpark allows authors to set trade discounts and make their books returnable, which can make your book more attractive to brick-and-mortar bookstores and libraries, increasing the likelihood of stocking your book. - Author Control Over Pricing
